Have a craving for smooth, creamy ice cream but also want to make sure you and your family isn’t eating heaps of refined sugar? Try this delicious dairy-free ice cream! Quick to make and packed with fibre, potassium, and nutrients found in fruit, this dessert is perfect to whip up on a hot summer’s day!
Ingredients:
– 4-6 frozen bananas
– 1 – 2 cups frozen mangos
– 1-2 tsp vanilla extract
– 1/4 to 1/2 cup of non-dairy milk (almond milk works great)
Put frozen bananas, almond milk, vanilla, and frozen mangoes into a food processor. Processor for 5-10 minutes, stopping each minute stir contents.
Blend until smooth, and then top with your favourite berries, cacao chips (or chocolate chips), coconut, and anything else you usually put on top of ice cream.
Try other flavours! Mix with frozen strawberries, vanilla or powdered cocoa.
